Finance with Purpose: Powering Malaysia’s Essential Sectors

A Message to Our Partners

Dear Valued Partners and Investors,

Finance with Purpose: Powering Malaysia’s Essential Sectors

In many areas of finance, performance is often measured by returns and yield. At TAMU Capital, we believe the true value of capital is reflected not only in performance, but in how it supports real economic activity and contributes to the broader ecosystem.

As we review our underlying business performance, one thing is clear — our role extends beyond financing. We support sectors that are fundamental to the functioning of the economy and the continuity of essential services.

Supporting Key Sectors

Our portfolio reflects a strategic concentration in industries that impact everyday life in Malaysia. A significant portion, 30%, is allocated to healthcare, helping to ensure that medical supply chains remain stable and that essential services continue without disruption.

Beyond healthcare, 26% of our allocation supports Telecommunications, a critical sector as Malaysia advances towards a more inclusive digital economy. Together with investments in Technology (23%), Energy (8%), and Security (5%), more than 90% of our capital is deployed in sectors that form the backbone of national infrastructure.

Supporting Business Growth

Beyond sector allocation, the impact of our financing is reflected in the businesses we support.

Over the past year, more than 40 Bumiputera companies have been onboarded into our financing ecosystem. Collectively, these companies support approximately 300 employees across various industries.

In today’s economic environment, where SMEs face rising operational costs and cash flow challenges, access to timely financing plays a crucial role. These 300 jobs represent not only employment, but also stability for families and communities.

Why This Matters

Our approach in offering G2B (Government-to-Business) private credit as an alternative asset is designed to support both performance and stability:

  • Enabling Participation
Supporting Bumiputera companies to participate in and deliver government or government-linked projects.
  • Ensuring Continuity
Facilitating uninterrupted service delivery across sectors such as healthcare, telecommunications, and infrastructure.
  • Supporting Employment
Helping businesses sustain operations and maintain their workforce.

Moving Forward

At TAMU Capital, our mission remains clear: to bridge the gap between “winning a contract” and “delivering impact.”

By supporting businesses through structured, asset-backed financing, we aim to contribute to a more resilient and sustainable economic ecosystem — one that balances performance with responsibility.

Warmest regards,

TAMU Capital Berhad
